TASTING NOTE: Wow! I was expecting smooth sweet and vanilla, what hit me were sweet sherry, port, spicy liquorice served up in a thick creamy, chewy rich sauce. 44 years old and lived and enjoyed every day and refuses to mellow. Pure gold nectar

This distillery is lost and gone forever having closed in 1980. It was established by George Christie, the founder of The Speyside distillery, in 1958. Mr Christie used 100% malted barley in the first few years giving the spirit much more flavour than its industry counterparts. There is very little of this delicious treat left, so hurry. It would be a shame to hear of the spirit but miss the opportunity to try it.
