Invergordon is a grain distillery located in the Northern Highlands about 30 miles above Inverness. It was built in 1959 and owned by Whyte and Mackay but is now Indian owned. The building overlooks the Cromarty Firth and looks more like a factory than a distillery. The first stage is done in a stainless steel then the next in copper.
